Allen + Shariff led the MEP renovation of the UPMC Montefiore renovation of the West, South, and East wings, totaling 20,000 square feet. The project included the addition of Ebola rooms in the East wing, a renovation of the South wing patient space totaling 8,000 square feet, upgrades to the existing chiller plant to increase the capacity to 3,000 tons. The operating room renovation included the addition of a 75,000 CFM air handling unit that combined the capacity of four air handling units into one.
