Allen + Shariff Corporation provided design services to replace the existing 20,000 CFM dual duct air handling unit (AHU) located in the level-B Mansfield mechanical room with a 25,000 CFM custom VAV AHU. The new AHU was installed in the same location as the existing air handling unit. A temporary AHU was rented to back-feed air to the emergency department during construction to
allow for operation of this area during construction.
