Allen + Shariff provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services for the Rehoboth Beach Country Club, a $10.5 million renovation project.  The 38,000 square foot country club located in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

The mechanical scope of work for this project was concentrated on the expansion, additions and renovations to the office space, toilet rooms and locker rooms, upgrades to the kitchens, new bar areas, and a board room constructed within a banquet space. Where renovations and additions required increased capacities, new units were designed and integrated into the project. A new pool building was also included in the design, inclusive of a snack bar and lifeguard office space, both of which were provided with split systems.

The existing plumbing fixtures were replaced with new, water conserving fixtures and upgraded to meet new ADA guidelines. The electrical system design included replacing existing lighting with new energy efficient LED lighting and energy saving lighting controls. Modifications were made to the existing addressable fire alarm system to conform to the new architectural design. Exterior and emergency lighting were designed to provide code required egress, as was lighting at the pool and fire pit areas.
