Evangel Cathedral HVAC & Envelope Assessment

Allen + Shariff provided MEP engineering services to the 95,000 SF Evangel Cathedral. The effort includes review of building drawings, evaluation of existing HVAC systems and building envelope, an evaluation of the feasibility of adding an emergency generator to address on-going brown out issues, preparation of a report that describes the systems installed, the condition of the systems, and the estimated remaining life of these systems.

The report included a listing of visually observed deficiencies, descriptions of installed systems, condition of these systems, and their estimated remaining service life.

For each system, A+S recommended upgrades, replacement systems and available options.

Our report also included a listing of visually observed code violations.

Order of magnitude cost estimates were provided for identified systems and recommended options.

Provided an outline and quantify available of BGE/Empower Maryland incentives and rebates for the feasibility study, rooftop equipment replacement, design fee assistance, and other potential rebates.
