Allen + Shariff provided MEP/FP/IT/LEED engineering services for this five-story, 134,555 square foot Class A office building. The new space, which houses 600 employees and the headquarters for Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, prioritized community sustainability through alternative and low-emission transportation, bicycle accommodations, habitat protection, vegetated open space, heat island reduction, and rain water preservation. In 2017, 3040 Wight Avenue achieved LEED Gold certification and totaled 61 points through a variety of sustainable design strategies.
