Allen & Shariff provided LEED MEP/FP engineering services for 100,000 SF new building construction of Evansdale Crossing at West Virginia University (6-story connector  building).

The connector building is part of the Evansdale Master Plan, a $250 million development project, and part of the WVU 2020 Strategic Plan for the Future.

This project will create a new student-centered gathering space that ties into Engineering PRT and back side of the Student Rec Center.  The building is planned to house new study spaces, 4 classroums, food services and other student and faculty amenities. A major goal of the project is to unite the upper and lower parts of the Evansdale Campus by providing elevators and indoor stairs and bridging the PRT tracks.
