Allen + Shariff led the MEP design and construction with Ark/JCM and Helix for Incanto and Vio, two mixed use buildings that make up The Wharf’s Parcel 4. The project, which was split between design teams in our Columbia, Salisbury and Pittsburgh offices.
Quickly becoming one of DC’s most sought after addresses, Vio is one of two luxurious waterfront residential buildings with 112 high-end residences on 12 floors. The finishes at Vio included Porcelanosa kitchen and bath cabinetry, high ceilings, wide-plank hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and private outdoor space. Amenities included 24-hour concierge, a rooftop pool, a waterfront saltwater infinity pool, gym with yoga studio, lounge with espresso bar, a dog washing station, underground parking with a car detailing station, bike storage and full climate control.
Incanto, the second of the two residential buildings at The Wharf, is an urban apartment living space offering sophisticated, modern apartment residences close to entertainment, shopping, and dining. Like Vio, Icanto is located on the water and features 152 units ranging from 441 to 1,024 square feet with open floor plans, stainless steel appliances, keyless building and unit entry systems, and views of the monuments in select apartments. Both buildings were designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
