Allen + Shariff has provided consulting engineering services for 30 projects over an 18 year span with Atlantic General Hospital (AGH), located in Berlin, Maryland, and currently serves as the Hospital’s primary MEP firm. AGH is an award winning, sixty-two bed, not for profit facility that was opened in 1993.

Over those 18 years, the projects Allen + Shariff has led on behalf of AGH range in size and scope—some as small as 114 square feet to larger projects totaling 11,000 + square feet. Project renovations have included the MEP design services for an MRI Suite addition, a new hospital suite, a pediatric office addition, a wound center with hyperbaric chamber,, a cancer treatment area, pharmacy renovation, cafeteria, a Bronchoscopy room, morgue, HR relocation, patient room and corridor lighting, HVAC modifications, nurse stations, a new chilled water system, AHU replacements, and more. Most recently, Allen + Shariff provided Covid Support design to include, but not limited to mechanical system design and reallocation in support of developing negative pressure rooms.
