David C. Price, PE

B.S., Mechanical Engineering, West Virginia University – 1996; Professional Engineer (PE) – 2002

With an extensive background in mechanical engineering systems, David Price brings a great deal of knowledge to the Allen + Shariff team. David joined Allen + Shariff Corporation at their corporate headquarters in Maryland in 1997. Wanting to expand the company, David led the initiative to open an office in Pittsburgh in 2000. Starting with only two engineers, he grew the Pittsburgh team ten-fold and continues to mentor and lead the mechanical group in Pittsburgh. His role as President of Engineering has him working to lead the engineering team and steer the groups vision into the future. He continues to grow relationships with new and old clients, building both projects and relationships that stand the test of time.

As a mentor to the younger mechanical engineers, David is always looking for innovative ways to help differentiate our projects and bring value to our clients. Surprisingly, he looks to create projects where the mechanical designs aren’t even noticed. Those are the projects where the mechanical systems blend seamlessly, quietly, efficiently, and comfortably into the background. Nothing speaks more highly to engineering mechanical success than those attributes.
