“My first meeting with Allen & Shariff was 25 years ago,” said OTJ partner and studio director Lance Jaccard. “The meeting was for a healthcare-related tenant in the Air Rights Building in Bethesda. It was important to both of our companies so we came prepared to get all the answers we needed to complete our permit drawings. I also remember having fun, so the meeting was a balance of serious business and the beginning of a friendship. Allen & Shariff brings dependability and smart MEP design that can be built within a budget.”
Since that first meeting, Allen & Shariff has provided services for hundreds of thousands of square feet of OTJ’s interior architecture projects. Here are just a few of the projects the two firms have completed together.
2001 K. Street, NW – Washington, DC
Allen & Shariff provided MEP engineering services for this project, a spec office suite on the 5th floor at 2001 K Street, a prominent location in downtown Washington, DC. The project was completed in 2008.
Ridgewood Partnership – Reston, VA
Allen & Shariff provided MEP engineering design services for a 3,464 square foot of tenant fit-out space for Ridgewood Partnership in Reston, VA. The space includes perimeter offices, interior workstations, a pantry, a reception area, and a large conference room. The project also includes ADA upgrades and renovations to the 14th floor men’s and women’s restrooms.
Perfect Sense – Reston, VA
Allen & Shariff provided MEP design for tenant improvements to the 4th floor of an office building in Reston, VA. Design included adding a sink and random spot renovations throughout the 4th floor including the addition of huddle spaces and a conference room.
