Interplan is a full-service commercial architecture and interior design firm based in Vienna, VA. Firmly believing that strong relationships lead to excellent results, Interplan has worked hard since 1984 to realize both. Interplan is now in its third generation of architects and designers, with projects that focus on the end users. Dedicating time in the initial stages to understand clients’ goals, schedule, and budget, Interplan utilizes this information to create work environments as unique as each individual client.

717 14th Street – GSA Treasury
Allen & Shariff provided MEP engineering design and consulting for this for this state-of-the-art facility, which encompassed 60,000 square feet over seven floors. The GSA tenant space for 240 employees includes perimeter offices, open office areas, small conference rooms, LAN rooms, file and storage rooms and a large 3,000 square foot conferencing and training center. This fast track project was completed in 9 weeks.
RSM McGladrey
Allen & Shariff Engineering provided MEP engineering design and LEED consultancy services for RSM McGladrey tenant fit-out on the 13th and 14th floors of 100 International Dr. in Baltimore, MD. The project was designed to achieve Silver Certification under the LEED 2009 Interior Design and Construction Rating System. The approximately 38,500 square feet of space included perimeter and interior offices, open workstations, conference rooms, a reception area, pantries, storage / file rooms, and support spaces.
Cardiocore
Allen & Shariff provided MEP engineering design for a 10,265 square fot tenant fit-out for Cardiocore on the 6th floor of One Preserve Parkway. Space includes typical office space with open workstations, LAN room, small IT room, a large conference room with operable interior walls, a break room, and a coffee counter. Because Cardiocore is a centralized cardiac testing lab the project also required state-of-the-art data and information management abilities. Their centralized services include electrocardiography (ECG), Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), echocardiography (ECHO), multigated acquisition scan (MUGA), protocol development, expert reporting, and statistical analysis.
